Budding photographers will see their photographs exhibited in the first-ever students' exhibition organised by St Albans Camera Club.
The competition was open to students from secondary schools and those studying photography at Oaklands College in St Albans and the University of Hertfordshire.
Budding snappers submitted 118 photos to the contest held on November 4.
Hertfordshire University student Sarah Bennett won a photography masterclass for her entry Bold Skater, which received top prize for full marks. The prize was donated by Donato Cinicolo of dc3:art.
The entries were inspected by judge Colin Southgate who selected 41 pictures to appear in a month-long exhibition at the Museum of St Albans in Hatfield Road from Friday, November 28.
Club chairman Steve Else said: "We were very pleased with the number of entries and we plan to run the competition again next year."
The exhibition was supported by St Albans Museums and Galleries Trust and sponsored by St Albans law firm Taylor Walton Solicitors.
