Unpaid family carers will be given discounts in shops, restaurants and other services in the district.
Carers who live, work or care in the district will be able to access savings, which go live when they sign up for the photo ID card run by Carers in Hertfordshire.
St Albans Mayor Geoff Harrison will officially open the launch at 11am on Friday, November 28 at St Albans Library in The Maltings.
Carers can then get their passports issued up until 3pm, and seek advice and information from Carers in Hertfordshire and other carer support organisations.
Companies which have already signed up to support the passport include Boots, Alban Arena, Manor Group Pharmacies, The Fragrance Shop, numerous Leisure Centres, Holiday Inn and Bare Minerals.
To date more than 2,700 passports have been issued with over 1,150 equivalent to over 41 per cent of that number, going to carers not previously accessing support and advice from Carers in Hertfordshire.
The charity currently supports just over 15,000 carers across Hertfordshire, a 23 percent increase in the last 12 months.
