Almost £1 million of Premium Bond pay-outs remain unclaimed by winners in Hertfordshire.
NS&I (National Savings and Insurance) is calling for bonds holders to come forward to claim their prizes, and to sign-up to have their winnings paid directly into their bank accounts to reduce the chances of prizes going unclaimed in future.
Customers can use the fee-free Premium Bonds Prize Checker to track unclaimed prizes that can be claimed from as far back as 1957.
Across the UK over 928,000 Premium Bonds prizes worth over £41 million remain unclaimed.
The top five unclaimed prizes in Hertfordshire are due to the holders of these numbers 8KB809320; 31ST911994, 3BW521177; 3WZ335930; 8EW814956.
The oldest five unclaimed prizes will be paid to the holders of numbers 1KS935512 drawn in March 1962; 1BZ516162 drawn in March 1965; AP164132 drawn in January 1967; MN115283 drawn in March 1967; and 3AB145794 drawn in September 1968.
