The Salvation Army is hosting a free party on Christmas day for those who would otherwise be on their own.
The charity will pick guests up at 11.30am and treat guests to a traditional three course dinner, followed by watching the Queen's speech. Guests will then be taken home at about 4pm with a food parcel. In addition to this, if people are housebound and unable to attend they charity can deliver a Christmas meal to them at no cost.
The party will be in Leyton Green, Harpenden. If anyone would like to attend or if they know of anyone who might like to attend, contact: Captain Ralph Walker on 01582 469 399.
