Body found in search for missing James Lomax
Police searching for a missing Wheathampstead man have found a body in fields close to his home.
James Lomax, 83, had been missing since last Thursday.
The deceased man has yet to be formally identified, but is believed to be Mr Lomax.
His wife and family have been informed and a formal identification will take place as soon as possible.
In light of the discovery, police have ceased searching and would like to thank all those who took part in the searches and members of the public for their help in finding Mr Lomax.
