A 21-year-old man has been arrested after he was allegedly carrying knives.
Armed police officers were called to Perham Way to search for the man at around 4.15pm yesterday.
The man was said to be carrying knives in his jacket and officers searched the area after reports the man had walked off towards Alexander Road.
They later arrested him in St Anne’s Road on suspicion of having an offensive weapon.
