Fourteen immigrants were found hiding in a lorry travelling towards St Albans.
Herts Constabulary were called at 9..30pm on Thursday, August 27 following reports of suspicious activity on a lorry in St Albans Road West, Hatfield.
Police said they believe the 14 people found entered the UK illegally. They have been taken into custody for their safety and the Home Office Immigration and Borders departments have been informed.
