St Albans Bowling Club will be running free coaching courses from the end of next month.

This will be the fifth year that these courses have been run. They will be held on a mid-week morning and an evening to suit both workers and non-workers.

The classes will be at the same time, on the same day for four consecutive weeks and each session will last approximately two hours.

All equipment will be provided. All that participants will need is a pair of flat-soled shoes but trainers are suitable.

The courses will be run by nationally recognised Bowls Development Alliance Tutors at the club in Clarence Park. Places are limited so early booking is recommended.

If you are interested in taking part, or need to know more information, contact Carole or Trevor Ewer by email on carole@ewerfamily.co.uk or call 01727824483 to secure your place.

The new season gets underway on Saturday, April 11 and Councillor Janet Churchard, Deputy Mayor of St Albans City and District, will deliver the first bowl.
