St Albans suffered a 41-run defeat to Potton Town in Herts Division Two B on Saturday.

Mbekezeli Mabuza returned figures of four for 67 as Potton Town finished on a total of 223 for nine.

In reply, St Albans could only manage 182 all out from 43.1 overs. Mabuza scored 35 and Phil Caley top scored with 60 for the side.

The Seconds were held to a draw with Dunstable Seconds in Division Four B.

Dunstable reached 213 for eight from their innings. In response, the Seconds avoided defeat after finishing on 197 for nine.

Harpenden drew with Botany Bay in the Premier Division.

After being put into bat, Harpenden scored 269 for seven from their innings. Ben Clements was in excellent form as he scored an unbeaten 130. Ben Frazer chipped in for the side with 40 and George Garrett added 33.

Botany Bay never threatened victory in reply as they ended up on 196 for six from their innings.

Nick Lamb and Richard Darwin took two wickets apiece.
